Meet Catherine Courtice

Allow me tell you a little about my story and why I know I can lead you on a journey to overcome chronic pain.

Hi, I am Catherine Courtice—a chronic pain coach, author, and advocate who believes that even in life’s hardest moments, there is always a way forward. After a life-changing accident in 2007, I found myself navigating years of relentless chronic pain, loss of identity, and the emotional weight of being told, “This is just the way it is now.” But I refused to believe that pain was the end of my story. What began as a personal journey to survive became a calling to help others do the same. For over a decade, I have walked alongside people living with chronic pain—offering not just support, but tools rooted in neuroscience, movement, mindset, and deep empathy. With a background in kinesiology, education, mobility work, and coaching, I blend lived experience with professional insight to help others rediscover what is still possible. Beyond the work I do, I am a lifelong learner, a lover of books, and someone who finds joy in quiet mornings with tea, long walks near water, and meaningful conversations. I enjoy creating beauty in simple things—whether that is organizing a space, trying a new recipe, or sitting outside with a journal. Faith anchors me, and so does laughter, music, and time spent with the people I love. Whether through my coaching program or my book, When Life Gives You Lemons, Choose the Lime: Embracing Life After Diagnosis, my mission is to help you reconnect with your purpose, reclaim your power, and remember that your story is far from over. I live on Wolfe Island, Ontario, where I continue to write, coach, and advocate for those who feel unseen and unheard in their pain.
